Dough maker — Hardy County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dough maker in Hardy County, West Virginia. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes The role involves shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
