Immediate opening: crane operator (Northern Ireland)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer £12 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
