Great opportunity: bread and bun maker (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in La Salle County, Texas. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Your main tasks: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
