Groundskeeper — Hancock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Hancock County, Iowa. You will be based on the grounds of a hotel resort. What we are looking for: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads Six days a week, one day off.
