Tile installer — Bronx County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile installer in Bronx County, New York. You will work on a commercial fit-out project. The role involves level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level. You should have: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage Six days a week, one day off. We offer $28 per hour plus benefits.
