Punch press operator — Appomattox County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a punch press operator in Appomattox County, Virginia. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day to day you will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Six days a week, one day off.
