Decorator — Johnson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a decorator in Johnson County, Kansas. You will work on commercial fit-out projects. Requirements: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec Day-to-day duties: • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
