Rigging foreman — Grand Isle County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Grand Isle County, Vermont. You will be based at a power plant. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
