Road roller operator — Baker County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a road roller operator in Baker County, Florida. You will be based at a plant hire yard. On a typical shift you will load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations. You should have: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
