Foundry operative — Warrington

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Warrington, England. On a typical shift you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
