Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Blackburn with Darwen, England. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses The role involves operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; record output and downtime on the production sheet; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around £3,150 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
