Bakery assistant • Hancock County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Hancock County, Iowa. You will work at a cake shop. On a typical shift you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls. Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
