Power float operator wanted in Iredell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Iredell County, North Carolina. You will work on a road and bridge project. On a typical shift you will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
