Bodywork technician — Thayer County

Join our team: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Thayer County, Nebraska. You will be based in an insurance-approved repair centre. Your main tasks: • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,250 per project, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
