We are recruiting: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Hardin County, Tennessee. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Day-to-day duties: • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools Full-time, day shift.
