Vacancy available: roofer (Florida)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofer in Monroe County, Florida. You will be based on re-roofing and repair jobs. Requirements: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) The role involves: • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses 5+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
