Cabinet maker — Appanoose County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cabinet maker in Appanoose County, Iowa. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. The role involves build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Good eye for detail and a clean finish At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
