Turning centre operator — Clackmannanshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. Day to day you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Full-time, day shift. We offer £14 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
