Immediate opening: mining dozer operator (Louisiana)

Now hiring: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a land-clearing site. You will follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank. What we are looking for: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
