Sand plant operator wanted in Keith County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Keith County, Nebraska. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day to day you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 6+ years on the tools preferred.
