Die-casting operator • Yauri, Kebbi State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Yauri, Kebbi State. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 2+ years on the tools preferred.
