Immediate opening: elevator service technician (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Westchester County, New York. You will be based in a residential tower block. On a typical shift you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
