Argon welder wanted in Hardin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Hardin County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
