Backhoe loader operator wanted in Costilla County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Costilla County, Colorado. You will be based at a stone quarry. The role involves: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
