Fry cook — Oktibbeha County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fry cook in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. Requirements: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Day to day you will monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
