Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Walsall, England. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On the job you will handle: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Full-time, day shift.
