You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Able to read isometric and site drawings On a typical shift you will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant.
