Vacancy available: estate gardener (Alabama)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an estate gardener in Escambia County, Alabama. You will work on a golf course. On the job you will handle: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed Requirements: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance 4+ years on the tools preferred.
