Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Lancaster County, Virginia. You will work at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Six days a week, one day off.
