Concrete worker — Douglas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in Douglas County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
