Sewing machine operator — Madison County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Madison County, New York. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance On the job you will handle: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
