Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Platte County, Missouri. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. You will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift.
