Brick and block layer — Lamar County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Lamar County, Texas. You will work on a commercial construction site. On the job you will handle: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks 3+ years on the tools preferred.
