Argon arc welder — Scotland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Scotland County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Your main tasks: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits.
