Formwork joiner wanted in Sutter County

Join our team: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Sutter County, California. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
