Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in Lamar County, Texas. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. The role involves: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Rotating shifts. $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
