Gas pipe fitter — Marshall County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Marshall County, Kansas. The job is at a busy gas installation company. You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings You will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
