EHS coordinator wanted in Ashe County

Join our team: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Ashe County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Your main tasks: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
