Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork erector in Box Butte County, Nebraska. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. Requirements: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level On a typical shift you will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking.
