Mining dozer operator wanted in Alcorn County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Alcorn County, Mississippi. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. The role involves: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
