Join our team: we are hiring a dogger in Wirt County, West Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
