Single needle operator — Douglas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Douglas County, Illinois. You will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
