Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in City of Galax, Virginia. You will be based on a commercial construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Your main tasks: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
