Concrete placer — Logan County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete placer in Logan County, North Dakota. The job is on a road and bridge project. The role involves: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
