Gas meter installer — Nueces County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Nueces County, Texas. You will work in a gas distribution network. You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings The role involves check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
