Now hiring: we are hiring a cabinet maker in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. Your main tasks: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Pay around £2,350 per month, based on your experience.
