Falsework carpenter — Floyd County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Floyd County, Virginia. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. You should have: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork The role involves: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line Rotating shifts.
