Vacancy available: we are hiring a dough maker in Kent County, Maryland. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. The role involves: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Score the top of loaves before baking Ideal candidate: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Food handler / hygiene certificate Part-time with flexible hours.
