Foundry labourer — Monroe County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Monroe County, Florida. You will work at a busy iron foundry. You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience.
