Press operator wanted in Gloucestershire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press operator in Gloucestershire, England. The job is on the press shop floor. Day to day you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred We offer £2,750 per month plus benefits.
